North Arlington's Ida D'Amico, 86, Passes Away

NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. -- Ida D’Amico (nee Auciello) passed away Aug. 28 at the Jersey City Medical Center. She was 86.

Born in Italy, D’Amico lived in Jersey City before moving to North Arlington 35 years ago.

D’Amico is preceded in death by her husband Felice D’Amico.

She is survived by her daughters Donna Orrico and Anna Silverio; sons Albert D’Amico and Felice D’Amico; grandchildren Dana Marandola, Danielle Faga, Michael D'Amico, Gabriel and Vincent Silverio; great grandchildren Brandon, Gianna, Joseph, and Giovanni; sister Gina Berardi; and the late Antonio Auciello.

Services were held Aug. 31 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington. The family asks donations be made in D’Amico’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association, 400 Morris Ave, Denville, N.J. 07834.
